Hi! I'm Maleshia Jones, a lifestyle portrait, wedding, and special events photographer from Hyattsville, Maryland.  I enjoy taking portraits of people, places, and things at weddings, special events, and local spots within the DMV region, as well as putting my own artistic spin on how I view the world around me through my camera’s lens.  For the last 10+ years, I have learned, practiced, and refined the art of photography. What started out as just a fun hobby has quickly turned into my passion unveiled by God.

 

Photographs tell a beautiful, raw, untold story that words alone could never completely and justifiably tell.  Photography is and has always been an outlet for me to create, capture, and share impressionable photography with the world of what I see from the lens' perspective: love, joy, beauty, faith, life, emotions, and God's creations. My desire is to capture the precious moments in life, to tell a story of not only my personal experiences on this earth but also the unique stories of everyone whom I am fortunate to interact with.  I believe that my photography is my ministry, my creative outlet and a way for me to express myself, and a way for me to shine the light of Jesus Christ, my Lord, and Savior, that is within me, onto a dark and dying world through the portrayal of the all of God's creations in this world.

 

I care about YOU! My persistent reminder to everyone who has an opportunity to interact with me, whether it be in-person, via social media, via email, or via telephone, I want you to know that YOU, yes YOU (all people of the world), are one of God's precious creations and YOU MATTER! God loves you so much and you have a very special purpose in this lifetime.  I am an image-bearer and it is my hope to inspire, uplift, and encourage others. It is my hope to inspire others, spread love and happiness, shed light on the good around us, and leave my mark by making someone's life a little bit brighter. I hope to leave a positive lasting impression, an Imprint, for others to follow by example. God is Love. God loves you. Love is the answer.
