Nardos G. recently completed her doctoral program at the University of Maryland, College Park (University of Maryland) at the end of 2022 and reached out to Imprints By Maleshia J. to capture this huge milestone (because #MamaSheMadeIt). Fun fact: Nardos and I have known each other since elementary school, so it was such a joy to reconnect with her and serve her in this way present day. We're both scholars, working adults, and thriving Black Women who are still here where we are by the sweet grace and mercy of God! #WontHeDoIt!
Nardos shared that she had never had portraits taken professionally in her adult years.
Let me tell you something... we had a GOOD time at her session! Although it was a high heat and super humid day, you would never know because Nardos kept it cool and I had a handy-dandy handheld fan available. The University of Maryland campus is so beautiful, yet very vast I might add. You're certainly guaranteed to get a few thousand steps in per day.
