The Yellow Matter Photography Exhibition took place this past weekend on Saturday, November 18th, 2023 at Homme Gallery located in Washington, D.C. and it was an entire experience that I will never forget!
What a blessing it was to successfully host my first ever photography exhibition titled Yellow Matter, a duet photography exhibition with my birthday twin Kiara Walker that featured our independent passion projects united by our love for the color yellow, and to celebrate our actual birthdays (11.18) at the same time! Yellow Matter owes us nothing else and we can officially say that #WeDidThat! 👏🏽
The journey of curating an exhibit from stratch/start to finish was PHENOMENAL experience filled with highs and lows, lessons lessons learned, connections deepened, and relationships fostered along the way. I am in awe of how God brought Kiara and me together to accomplish everything that we did! Glory to God for seeing us through to the end of this journey, but this is just the beginning for each of us and greater things are coming! 💛🙌🏽
I am beyond overjoyed and filled with so much happiness in my heart. Words alone cannot express the multitude of positive feelings I gained from this experience. I would like to extend a warm thank you to every single person who came out to support us and view our passion projects, to celebrate life with us, to encourage us, and to simply show us LOVE! God is so good and I am grateful to Him for bringing EVERYTHING into alignment with both Kiara and me during this entire journey from start to finish!
